The Padres have extended an invitation to 30 players to participate in their Major League Spring Training. The list of invitees includes a mix of players who have already experienced the major leagues and those who are new to the Padres organization.
Of the 30 players that have been invited, 16 are minor league free agents who will be joining the Padres for the first time. Additionally, 19 invitees have had previous Major League experience, and nine of the 30 players were initially signed or drafted by the Padres.
The players include 14 right-handed pitchers, 2 left-handed pitchers, 3 catchers, 6 infielders, and 5 outfielders. The list of players includes names such as Aaron Brooks, Anderson Espinoza, and Matt Waldron.
The Major League Spring Training is an opportunity for players to showcase their talent and earn a spot on the Padres' regular season roster. Attached with the announcement was a full roster of all 71 players who will attend the training.
