The Downtown San Diego Partnership, a local member-based nonprofit organization, in coordination with the City Center BID, Hillcrest Business Association, Gaslamp Quarter Association, East Village Association, Mission Hills Business Improvement District, and Quartyard, will host a City Council District 3 candidate forum for the public.

With four candidates vying for the open seat in San Diego City Council, District 3, the 2020 election is shaping up to be a competitive local race. Moderated by Scott Lewis, CEO and Editor in Chief of the Voice of San Diego, the candidates at this free event will discuss and debate their ideas on issues that impact our urban core such as housing, mobility, and quality of life.

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Quartyard located at 1301 Market Street in Downtown San Diego. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 6:00 p.m. The candidates, including Toni Duran, Adrian Kwiatkowski, Chris Olsen, and Stephen Whitburn, will be discussing their ideas and answering questions from attendees on issues related to the district such as development, mobility, and quality of life. The program is set to conclude at 7:30 p.m.

The forum is being hosted by a favorite East Village location, Quartyard, where attendees will enjoy speeches from the candidates and the opportunity to submit questions on topics that matter to them. For more information, registration, and to submit a question, visit http://bit.ly/District3Forum.
